Digging deeper is a great metaphor for understanding our desire to grow in our pursuit of Jesus. It is easy to allow our spiritual life to remain “surface” not engaging the depths that we are comfortable with and settle in. Every once in a while we need to be stirred up to go deeper, and we think that this year is that “digging deeper” season at Faith. This series, “Dirt”, will serve as a foundation for a time of getting our hands dirty spiritually…doing a little hard work…digging deeper.
