Missions
The goal of the Faith In Action Mission Team is to bring hope and support to those in need, and to demonstrate the power of faith in action. We strive to make a positive impact in the lives of those we touch and to show the world the transformative power of God’s love.
Over the last 19 years, we have built relationships with aide organizations, churches, prisons, orphanages, and medical professionals around San Pedro Sula, Honduras to discover and bring assistance to those in need.
Each year, our team comprised of medical professionals, pastors, teachers, construction workers, and those who simply desire to help bring medical brigades to rural villages taking medical care, food, clothes, eyeglasses, and support. Our goal is to meet immediate physical needs while spreading the Gospel.
A medical facility, Vida Hospital, was donated to our cause enabling us to open a full-time clinic in the Rivera Hernandez suburb of San Pedro Sula. This facility also serves as our home base for our short-term mission trips. Faith In Action provides ongoing maintenance and monthly financial support to Vida Hospital to ensure the people of San Pedro Sula and surrounding areas are able to receive consistent care year-round.
